Winter Festival – January 27
In just a few short weeks, it will be time for one of our largest events of the year…Winter Festival!
Jodi Snipes is PTO’s Winter Festival Chairperson this year, and we’re incorporating some new activities and changes. The biggest change is the implementation of Arm Bands, which are $10 and provide unlimited access to most of our Winter Festival activities. Since Face Painting is an extremely popular booth, Arm Bands will not be allowed for payment at that booth, so Cash and Activity Cards will be accepted as payment. Arm Bands are also not allowed as payment at any of our Concessions (hot dogs, sodas, water, chips, or popcorn).
PTO will continue to offer $5 Activity Cards. These Activity Cards can be used as payment for all Winter Festival activities, including Face Painting and Concessions. The cards are “punched’ when used as payment at a Winter Festival booth (a $5 Activity Card contains 20 punches).

Box Tops Program Ongoing
The following classes submitted the most Box Tops during the contest period that ended January 6 and will receive classroom parties: Brazil, Doughty, Bowdry, Borden, Carney, Fullington, and Dubose. Congratulations!
Participating students were also eligible for gift certificates. Winners included: Gabby Treadon (Chick-fil-a), Landon Beaty (Wal-Mart), Elyse Giles (Hallmark), Jenah Mercer (Wal-Mart), Parker Weeks (Gateway Cinemas), and Addie Rinehart (Chick-fil-a).
